Having moved down to Southern California at the behest of her friends Savannah and Morgan, Eva landed a tough job at an auto factory to make ends-meet. As an Elomimi, not only is she nocturnal, but she's energized by the moonlight itself. So, she decided to get a second shift job, so she could sleep during the tail end of the day and work on her semi-nocturnal schedule without completely depriving herself of moonlight.

She knew Savannah and Morgan from their mutual home town of South Haven, Michigan - having grown up together throughout high school. She was always the loner of the bunch though, preferring to stay indoors and play video games in her free time. After high school though, Savannah landed a job out in California and Morgan followed suit. Eva couldn't come along though, as she was looking after family.

Unfortunately, the worst came to pass, leaving Eva relatively alone in Michigan. Estranged from her friends at this point, she eventually regained contact. Morgan and Savannah both urged her to move to Southern Cali with them and start a new life. So, without much left to lose, she decided to make the jump. A few short visits allowed her to scout a place to stay, along with a few potential job offers. The jobs fell through for the mostpart, all aside from a temp agency which placed her at an automotive factory making heavy parts such as axles and drive shafts.

After a few months she managed to establish herself, becoming more of a hermit now due to a lack of funds. Even though she was paid more in Cali than she was in Michigan, the cost of living was sky-high and most of her spare income went directly into food and rent.

That was, until she got some texts from her friends again. While out getting groceries and doing various chores in the blistering California sun, they make plans to see each other again - in a nightclub called The Underdark...
