Born in Mykolaiv, Ukraine to Oleksandr and Amandine Agafonov, Marielle had a fairly meager upbringing. Her father did the best he could for her, working with his hands in carpentry. However, her mother eventually became estranged, disappearing for long periods of time before coming home drunk long after Oleksandr finished their family meal. She stuck with her father though, bonding with him over music and tagging along to his workplaces when she wasn't going to school. They learned languages together in their free time as well, including Russian, English, and Estonian.

Shortly after Marielle graduated from high school, her parents separated. Amandine returned to France, leaving the pair alone together in Mykolaiv. Marielle and her father Oleksandr packed up their old computer and everything else they could, travelled across Belarus through Latvia, and into Estonia. Disco, Rock, and plenty of other of her fathers favorites blazed through the speakers as the two made a trip out of it. Eventually, they came across a hidden little village when their Lada broke down called Celci. Instead of leaving, the locals welcomed them with open arms. They used what money they had left to purchase an old home, her father took up carpentry and construction again. Not wanting to be like her mother, Marielle designed a cute coffee stand, her father did the paperwork, and they constructed it together on a small corner of Celci. She wanted to make coffee to meet the locals more, to find new friends, and get new people to join her in her Tabletop adventures.

In her off time, she adores tabletop games - mostly Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, Dragon Age, and Shadowrun. She's not a professional, but that doesn't stop her! Aside from enjoying the game, she spends a lot of time on her father's old computer playing single player RPGs that hardly run. The inherent mysticism of the area to her, along with her reading and fantasies, also adds to her other hobby - writing fantasy novels.

She studies in small classes at a local university, but doesn't normally have any more time on her hands for other forms of entertainment like movies and anime. Even though they have a computer, connections to the internet are limited and she doesn't pick up on current trends or memes.

One of her favorite pass times, especially during her the Autumn, is exploring the town around her. She adores the yellows, reds, and of the leaves. Patrolling the forest, she finds flowers, discovers fancy trees, lakes, rivers, and adores the small animals all around her.

Everything is inspiration, and the town of Celci has magic in spades - More than she realizes...
